Overall, I really enjoyed this module, particularly the Future Living project, which I found more engaging compared to the microinteractions brief. At the beginning, I did struggle slightly with generating ideas for the microinteractions, especially leading up to the critique. However, I was able to quickly develop a strong set of concepts within a short timeframe, which ultimately worked in my favour and resulted in a cohesive and effective set of microinteractions that could be applied to future projects. I especially enjoyed the design process within this module, particularly when developing the visual aspects of my interactions before focusing on written reflections, which may be reflected in the structure of my work. The Future Living project stood out the most for me, as it offered a lot more creative freedom and allowed me to explore ideas without being restricted by a fixed structure. This made it more enjoyable and encouraged me to experiment with visuals and storytelling to bring the concept to life. I would have actually preferred it if Future Living had been the main project, as I found myself wanting to continue developing it even after submission. It felt like a project I could have pushed further, which is something I may revisit independently. Overall, I found the Playful Interactions module to be enjoyable and accessible, with a strong focus on design thinking and understanding rather than rigid outcomes or structured deliverables.
